Wie Ontinue Frauen fördert und eine Kultur des Wachstums, der Transparenz und des Vertrauens unterstützt

As we approach International Women’s Day, it’s a great time to reflect on what makes Ontinue a workplace where people don’t just work—they thrive. In an industry historically dominated by men, Ontinue is driving meaningful change by fostering an environment of inclusivity, professional development, and open communication.

A People-First Approach to Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity is a people-driven industry. While AI, automation, and sophisticated threat intelligence are crucial, success ultimately depends on the expertise and dedication of the professionals behind the technology. Ontinue understands that to stay ahead of evolving threats, we must invest in our people, ensuring they have the skills, tools, and environment necessary to excel.

Celebrating Women at Ontinue

With a growing number of women in technical and leadership roles, Ontinue is proud to be part of the shift toward a more inclusive cybersecurity industry. From key account managers to security analysts, we are hiring and promoting women who bring talent, expertise, and innovation to our teams.

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we reaffirm our commitment to creating a workplace where women feel supported, valued, and empowered to lead. At Ontinue, growth, transparency, and trust aren’t just ideals—they are the foundation of a company where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

A Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

Diversity isn’t just about representation—it’s a business imperative. A diverse workforce leads to stronger problem-solving, better decision-making, and a more resilient company. Women make up 24% of our workforce at Ontinue, and we’re driving meaningful change in historically male-dominated areas. Our SOC and Advisory teams now have over 20% women, reflecting our commitment to breaking industry norms. Even more importantly, in 2024, 40% of all employees who earned promotions or transitioned into new roles were women—demonstrating that Ontinue isn’t just hiring diverse talent, but actively investing in their growth and leadership.

But diversity extends beyond gender. We prioritize cultural diversity, ensuring that our global workforce brings unique perspectives that fuel innovation. Our commitment to inclusion is reflected in our hiring practices, where we ensure diverse candidate pools and interview panels, as well as our newly established Inclusion Committee, which is dedicated to fostering an even more inclusive workplace.

Our focus on flexibility and trust also makes Ontinue an attractive workplace for women balancing professional and personal responsibilities. Remote work, adaptable schedules, and a culture of accountability empower employees to excel without compromising their well-being.

Career growth is a key part of Ontinue’s employee experience. Employees have access to mentorship opportunities, leadership training, and Microsoft certification programs to expand their skills. We’ve also introduced a development track where employees can transition into different roles, such as moving from SOC operations to threat intelligence or automation.

Building a Workplace People Want to Stay In

Retaining top talent is a testament to a strong workplace culture, and at Ontinue, we’re proud to retain 90% of our workforce year over year. This high retention rate reflects our commitment to creating an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and excited about their future. Survey feedback consistently highlights that people stay at Ontinue because of the strong team culture, clear company strategy, and confidence in the direction we’re heading.

At Ontinue, we believe that transparency leads to trust. Employees at all levels communicate openly, whether through company-wide town halls, leadership Q&A sessions, or feedback loops after key events.

Ultimately, our goal is to build an environment where employees feel valued, empowered, and motivated to grow. As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we recognize that a diverse and inclusive workforce benefits everyone—not just women, but employees of all backgrounds. By fostering a culture of growth, transparency, and trust, we’re shaping the future of cybersecurity—together.
